As expected, New Balance makes the best normal shoes.
The suede, surprisingly, is very resistant to dirt and marking on this purple suede New Balance Men's M990ep4 trailrunning sneaker. I was concerned the shoes would show dirt due to the materials nd color, but they don't.<br /><br />As for the fit, it's New Balance. I've never found a reason not to trust New Balance.
Prefer New Balance
I like these shoes. They are comfortable and fit just right. I especially like the way my toes feel in these shoes, no pain or discomfort.

Super comfy, but I'm using the new balance insoles as well. I got a half size larger than what I normally wear to accommodate the insert. Great for foot pain. They do make my feet sweat a little though...
Just as New Balance is....
I have changed from another brand of running shoe to NB. This "N" feels a lot better, has lasted longer and is a softer shoe all around. I have had 2 pair of NB so far, this one makes my 3rd pair, and still planning on to make strides for the 4th pair.
I needed a new pair of shoes, my other New Balance shoes are about 10 years old.
I needed a new pair of shoes since my other New Balance are older. I thought I would use them to mow and do yard work. I also have planter phatiatis and thought these would work well.
My favorite New Balance shoe for trail running
Over the years I have tried several different New Balance styles for trail running. While most have been very good in one or two areas, I like this style (481 V3) the best for several of reasons. This shoe is comfortable (although I usually add an additional insert to cushion my feet from rocks), it fits well, it lasts very well (the sole wears out before the upper shows much wear at all), and the darker coloring is preferable because it does not show dirt and mud as much as the lighter-colored styles do.

An excellent shoe, as expected from New Balance
Shoe is very comfortable and fits as expected. I'm not a runner so can't rate that feature but ordered it as a nice looking comfortable shoe for general wear. It is fulfilling that need well. Appears to be well-made so expect it to last quite awhile, as my other New Balance shoes have.

Shoes made of good material. I order 8.5 size. its a bit loose.<br />After tying the lace tightly, it is still good to walk. will not slip.<br />shoes size is true to wear , so I should have ordered size 8.<br />very light and comfortable to wear .
