I've been wearing white New Balance shoes for years. This black pair fits very similarly to the white ones I always buy. In general, I find New Balance shoes very comfortable, but they tend to rub me at the heel so that the material there wears down sooner than I would like. (However, I also use them pretty heavily between daily activities and walking for exercise.)<br /><br />I think this particular pair of shoes could use more arch support, but I may be able to buy some inserts to correct that. I like the fact that they are fairly plain and all black, so I can wear them with black slacks when I want comfortable shoes but don't want to draw attention to the fact I am wearing tennis shoes.

I like New Balance sneakers. I picked these<br />mainly for the color, I find most New Balance sneakers comfortable. I just gotta get the right size, color & style to be happy with them. I walk or run about 4-5 miles a day & these work for me.

These shoes are well made and very light.<br />I bought these for my wife and she loves them, she works at a facility to take care of Seniors.<br />She is on her feet 8 hours per day and she does not complain about her feet hurting her anymore.<br />She complained that the shoe soles were a little bit slippery when wet, but nothing dangerous.<br />According to her, she would buy these shoes again...she love them.
Love my New Balance!!
I usually wear New Balance tennis shoes because they are comfortable for me. I got them at very good price when a sale was running. I settled w/light blue N because while I was trying to decide to get white or grey N they both sold out!! So if you see they're running sale act Fast!! LOL Very comfortable. I would recommend.

I've gotten older and my feet have changed. I never noticed until my feet started hurting no matter what shoes I had on. My left foot would slide outwards and atleast one inch would be on the floor. I already walk on the outside of my feet so all other shoes would hurt something terrible. I also now need a wide toe box. Who knew your feet changed as you age. I went thru so many sizes with so many brands I was thinking I would have to go to the podiatrist and then I bought my New Balance and I'm forever grateful. Wide toe box, heel stays where it's supposed to with no sliding and the nice strong leather keeps my foot inside the shoe not on the floor. I sized up with a wide half size and I'm my feet are forever thankful. New Balance Wins 🏆
