I am runner of approximately 7 to 10 miles per week and also walk my black lab daily. Also have plantar fasciitis. I have read reviews on how great Mizuno running shoes were but very weary of the high price. Over the years I would purchase the top of the line Nike air max line but this year went with the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 3. Had them for a week and very very comfortable running and walking. No pain even with my plantar fasciitis. No orthotics but my Mizuno's or Nike air max 2013. I was astounded at how comparable or slightly more comfortable + supportive the Mizuno's were. That's my 2 cents and actually happy with my purchase. Gotta thank Amazon for the tremendous sale on this shoe.
