These are my 7th pair of new balance shoes. I started wearing them because of foot problems. Recommended by my Orthopedist. He wears them as well. Keeps my feet happy.

New Balance always delivers a great shoe which lasts for miles and miles. The fit is perfect (I can't wear Nike shoes because I feel they are too narrow) and the quality is top notch. I may buy another pair just to keep a spare...
New Balance shoes
The design is okay, but the overall sturdiness is not good. The upper materials make the shoes a little bit flimsy to wear especially when I try to walk on them.

<br />I've now had the nb 100 for a couple of months and have run about 300 miles in them. I now prefer them to the nb790 because of the more rigid sole. Did a few 20 mile runs trail runs in them with no problems.<br />I plan to stick to the size 11 as the fit seems fine now, may have stretched or just got used to the more snug fit

New Balance MR1400 Review
This is a very light weight racing flat which I have worn for a half marathon, clocking my personal best. With this, I also met my training goal of under 25 mins for 5 km. Due to the thin sole and limited cut, I am using it purely for races or trial races. Another pair of trainer (ASICS DS Trainer 15) is used for normal mileages.<br /><br />Nice striking color combination, glows nicely during the dusk runs.<br /><br />The cutting/sizing of this model is a little smaller than the usual running shoes. I need to wear thin socks as my little toe was a little squashed when a pair of thick socks was worn during the said half marathon. If you are used to wearing thick socks, try to get half a size larger, or try it out at the store if you can help it.<br /><br />Happy Running!
