I have been wearing Nike shoes for most of my life. But for the last 2 years, quality and comfort has greatly diminished. I walk 8-12 miles per day, and using Nikes, my feet start to ache after the first 3 miles, and accumulate blisters. I tried their casual, running, and training shoes to no avail. They felt comfortable in casual wearing, but any cardio would show their dark side.<br /><br />Then I was recommended Salomon shoes by a colleague of mine. I wore them loosely, gradually tightening over the day to help break them in. The next day, I went for a 5 mile morning walk. The difference was immediate and astounding. No aching feet, no blisters, and it even helped support my knees and back. I'll never use any other shoe brand again, only Salomons!

I was looking for a shoe that had the comfort of the Nike Air Max, but not the bulk and cost. This shoe doesn't have as much bulk to the sole like the Nike Air Max and cost half as much. So overall, this is a great shoe and a solid deal. It is however a little narrow, but after wearing it for a few days, it loosens up.
