Like so may of their shoes they replace well made ...
unfortunately discontinued by New Balance several years ago. Like so may of their shoes they replace well made shoes that gain a following with a cheaper made "update". NB was known as something special but not anymore.
Need the width
Coching / Turf shoes tend to run narrow. I had purchased some Reeboks in Medium-D width and ended up returning them because they were too narrow. I typically wear a Medium-D width but could not find the Reeboks in a wider width. After lots more research, I discovered the New Balance shoes are readily available in wider widths and ordered the MB805s in a 2E. The width is perfect. The materials on top of the shoe (where the shoe bends) is a bit stiff and takes a while to "break in". The footbed cushion is great and these shoes are overall very comfortable - especially when standing on the field for long hours. For New Balance (not known for trendy looks), the looks of these shoes is pretty good. I recommend these shoes for comfort and function and would purchase another pair.

Great shoe for running around or walking. Good color scheme, so it looks good while wearing it. It's pretty durable and lasts a long time. Mesh tends to loosen over time, so thicker socks and washing in the washing machine helps keep them tight.

I never knew shoes could help so much with back pain!
I have bought Saucony shoes only once before, but loved the wide width and arch support provided. I think I'm hooked on this brand now, as it and New Balance are the only ones that feel comfortably wide enough. I am not having foot pain and back pain like I was before- these are correcting my pronation!P.S. I am a 5'5" (165cm), 170lb (77kg) female with larger than average feet. Women's shoes have never really worked for me (their "wide" is not wide enough), and I'm so happy to have found these!
Excellent shoe, but...
I did not purchase these shoes on Amazon, tried to contact New Balance with no luck regarding a minor issue, but thought I would let people on Amazon know about it. These are excellent running shoes, but with one very minor issue. The ink used on the heel of the insole and the coloring used on the underside of the tongue of the shoe stain your socks, especially if they get wet (like from sweating when you run). I now have several pairs of socks with black heels (from the ink on the insole) and yellow on the top (from the coloring on the underside of the tongue), other than that, I could not be happier with the shoes. Oddly enough, while the ink and coloring transfer very easily onto your socks, it is almost impossible to remove from the sock with washing, bleaching or even using stain remover. If not for that I would give a 5-star rating.
Great fit, good looking
I've been purchasing exclusively New Balance shoes because I've got "gun-boat" sized feet, a 13-4E and NB is one of the few manufacturers that go that size in the type of vented athletic shoe I use the most. But, NB shoes never seemed to fit 100% percent correctly, as they tend to roll-off to the outer side for me and have a strange feel to the padding underneath.I've had on these new Avias for less than 15 minutes and it's already more comfortable and fits better than any of the NBs I've had. In fact I'm going to order another pair in a different color so I can have a pair for work and home.If you're challenged with big feet and not getting proper fit I'd definitely try Avia; I'm pleasantly surprised.
Great in Wide Width
Normally my husband wears a 2E New Balance tennishoe, this shoe did the trick and fits his orthotic.
Keeps me dry
The last pair I had lasted a whole year before one got torn. I work outside every single day, and when it rains I throw these on over my expensive New Balance walking shoes. They keep me dry as long as I don't step into standing water higher than shoe level. They're not too cumbersome for me to walk in as much as I do outside on a daily basis and I don't fear tripping over from having them on.
Asics in B width
Very pleased with the narrow width. No heel slippage that I sometimes experience with New Balance. The Gel cushioning provides a nice ride. I am pleased with my first pair of Asics!
Big feet R' Us
New Balance is the only athletic shoe company that always has my size -14EEEE-in most of their styles. These look good without being flashy but the bottom is a very bright shade of orange...still cool. Highly recommended.
BETTER THEN EXECTED
In your choices up top you do not put the term "fits better then expected" as a choice. This is how I really feel about these sandals. I am a 6E this shoe is a 4E. But it is impossible to get a sandal in 6E. So I thought I would just adjust the strap on top to make it fit better. However, to my great surprise it fit very well without adjusting the strap. The thick, soft, cushion in the heel and sole feel very comfortable on my feet. These are Great sandals probably the best I have ever had. Thank You New Balance.

Husband cheating with new shoes 😂
Got these for my husband for Christmas and unfortunately they came in a New Balance box so no surprises and he got it early, but now he won’t take them off! He loves them! I’m fully expecting him to wear them to bed and in the shower at some point in the near future.
Tough Start but Good There After
Took me 10 to 15 minutes to get these on the first time. I wear a size 9 medium thus purchased the medium fit boot. That's a New Balance trainer. What I did was add baby powder to the inside of the boot so the shoe would slide in to place. Before that the rubber inside would bind against the shoe and I could not get the toe into the toe box without a whole lot of effort. Seems to me there may have been a flock lining inside before so the shoe would slide in. Now it is rubber and it can bind the incoming shoe. Wear life to be determined.
These are great shoes for practical people
This was a good purchase for a reasonable price. They are very similar to new balance shoes in my opinion. I highly recommend these shoes.
Very Comfortable!
Very comfortable. The top strap is not as sturdy as I would like, but I have not found a better slide than this New Balance. The arch support is very nice, and the insole repels water, so it does not become water logged.
Get a larger size
I wear all New Balance athletic shoes, size 13, 2E. I bought these shoes for golf in the same size but they were too short. Like what other people are saying these shoes run small. Get the next size up.
New Balance-- American Made
New Balance is a sneaker that is favored by many of us (American) Indians because of its wide widths. The Cross-Trainer model has good support for my weightlifting workouts also.
Good sneakers at a good price.
Good deal. I wear my sneakers for six months then recycle them to a local charity. I need support and cushioning at a good price because I go through four pairs of sneakers each year. It's almost as good as New Balance.
