I am well satisfied w/ my New Balance shoes. The fit is perfect but I did order 1/2 size larger than usual and it turned out to be the right decision. I use them mostly around the house and my woodshop. I wish the arch was little higher but no bad side effects so far. Satisfied

I had to add some arch support insoles that I found on Amazon because I developed some pretty bad arch problems with poorly fitting and non-arch supporting shoes. Previous to these current feet issues I never had a problem with New Balance shoes.<br /><br />But the BIG SURPRISE was when the podiatrist I was seeing was quite impressed with the VERY beat up New Balance shoes that I had worn for over 3 years full time. He was NOT surprised my feet were 'happiest' with these shoes that my bride cringed at because of their gruesome presentation! The podiatrist agreed that they had seen their 'better days' and told me these were a very good choice for 'damaged soles'. LOL. Of course, he also advised to get New Balance replacements.
What a New Balance!
This is a good shoe and I love them! Me an Amazon have worked in "Synchronous Harmony" and all went well! I will continue my shopping on Amazon. They do need to carry more products "Made In The USA" though, support our country more!

In my opinion , there are no better walking shoes than these New Balance model 928's . I have worn this brand and model for years and never look elsewhere for a replacement . Fit and quality along with a reasonable price are key points in my rating of these shoes .
I chose these over Sketchers and he seems to like them. I'm not a big New Balance fan ...
Ordered these for my boyfriend as they are specific to "walking" and he seemed interested in finding a walking shoe, I chose these over Sketchers and he seems to like them. I'm not a big New Balance fan but my shoe needs are different than his. These seem to hold up well on walks and as traveling shoes which he wears over his regular gym shoes. Can't really beat the price, although he says they are a bit heavy.

size,fit,function feel and they look good and american made. Actually,for my odd-shaped feet they are the most comfortable shoe i own. Went from Dr scholls shoes - and scholls inserts - to these shoes WITHOUT additional inserts and my feet haven't felt this good in recent memory. Love the velcro versus laces.

MY HUSBAND WALKS ON OUR TREADMILL A LOT AND IS VERY HARD ON TENNIS SHOES, BUT THESE HAVE OUTLASTED ALL OF THE OTHERS!!!

New Balance makes the best walking shoes!
14 years ago a friend said I should try New Balance and I've never bought any walking shoe but New Balance since. There may have been other New Balance styles I have bought, I cannot recall, but I have never jumped ship to another vendor. I love New Balance! I ask for my size 14, 4E and I get my size 14, 4E. The shoes always fit, are very comfortable, and I'm very happy!
New Balance never dissapoints
It's little known but all shoes have a 'base form factor' they're built to and new balances walking shoes always match my unique foot size. What's impossible to fit in a regular 'extra wide' the New Balance 4E always fits perfectly. I've literally been buying the same model shoe since 2004, though they did 'update' this one she's been a long missed companion for my oversized burden.
