Adidas vs. ASICS
If you can get away with men's “business casual," you can wear these shoes to switch between activities and informal business appointments.<br /><br />The ASICS Men's GT 1000 line in black, such as , has been our go-to pick for several years because it’s a sports shoe that is all black and doesn’t scream “running shoe,” even though that’s what it is. This Adidas hiking shoe is less expensive, and as a hiking shoe, the toe box is more solid (though the styling is slightly less business-friendly than the ASICS).<br /><br />The Adidas size chart was more true than ASICS, and the Adidas shoe comes with two different sets of insoles to customize the fit, which is a nice touch.<br /><br />Worn under different conditions, the Adidas shoe was equally comfortable for business, concert-going, standing, and a 3-mile hike -- plenty of support, and you don't have to remember to switch shoes before meeting clients. It's giving ASICS, our long-time favorite, a run (haha) for their money.

Although I've worn Adidas sneakers for years this is my first experience with an Adidas boot and I must admit I am totally satisfied. Not surprised because I always rated the company among the best. I've worn Merrell and New Balance boots lately but these have risen to the top of my list as far as comfort and style.
Excellent hiking shoes by Adidas
Comfortable fitting Adidas hikers that are water resistant and excellent at providing stability when walking. The round shoe laces allow you to tighten the fit. So far I've really enjoyed these shoes which are priced under $100.
Not as nice as adidas
I haven't tested the waterproofness yet but I trust Columbia I prefer by far the look on my Adidas goretex though and those I have definitely tested over and over<br />They don't seem too nice (again compared with my Adidas)

Impressed but it is Adidas
I very much like the shoes they were a bit hard on my foot at first until I got a Dr. Shores work Gel sole For it and now I find myself sometimes not even wanted to take them off even after a day of work.

to be honest, i havent wear them for a long time yet, as hot season has just started<br />i have tried it out and it fit comfortably, i struggled at first till i got how to untie and open the wraps open.<br />i shall be posting an update (hopefully i would remember to do that), when "winter comes back"

I have worn adidas for over 35 years and order them regularly for team shoes. They never disappoint. First time I've bought the hiking shoes and they are super.

i have a wide foot. the reviews stated fit well for wider feet. a little snug out of the box. but will be comfortable after broken in.
Adidas "badass" Terrex
Great hiking, running, biking,etc. I use them for everything. This are my second pair , the other pair wore out due the use. Waterproof, proved. Very comfortable. Firm support at the ankles. Here in Colorado is a must. I even use them for the snow, my feet stay dry. Love this boots. I will recommend them and I will buy them again.
Adidas quality
Exactly as they looked and were described, the reason for the 4 star is the laces. They are cheap/poor quality and will not last so I replaced them
Adidas' Outdoor lineup is really impressing me.
I bought some Adidas Outdoor Gore-Tex trail runners and loved them so much I picked up these boots too. The fit is excellent, they're very light, comfortable, and sturdy. I'll update on waterproofness and longevity, but I'm very happy so far.
