Cant't Go Wrong With New Balance Shoes
Great shoe and boot company.<br />My first pair was bought because of price. I now buy from them because of quality.<br />New Balance - the only shoes I will buy. I might even try their new light weight spike-less golf shoes.

Love New Balance.
Love the shoes. Out of the box, they were a little snug, but after 20 miles, they feel great. A great looking shoe assembled in the USA and a fair price to boot. I'll probably order a couple more pairs.
Excellent quality running shoes from New Balance..
On time delivery, visibly superior (US) workmanship and very comfortable shoes. I'm looking forward to start using them this weekend. They are very light, but well cushioned and flexible (good attributes for underpronators). I highly recommend them.<br /><br />Update - after owning these shoes for one month, I am still impressed. I use them to walk or run on asphalt surfaces. There is no wear. There is good reinforcement on the outer sole - especially in the heel. Despite their light weight, these shoes have excellent cushioning and bounce to them - to the extent that I've actually seen better walk and run times(3-5 mins for a 5 mile distance). It's important to know your whether you under or overpronate. These shoes are for underpronators or neutral runnners. I learned this with a previous pair of running shoes from another manufacturer which was advertised as neutral, but actually seemed like motion control shoes for overpronators. I experienced discomfort and running in them was uncomfortable and actually slowed me down. These 1290's are great running shoes!

Have only been wearing them for a month, but I'm very pleased with fit, comfort and stability. So far so good. It's hard to find 11.5 6E shoes that are comfortable.

Fit Perfect! I normally wear 9.5 in running shoes and these fit exactly as expected. Also I have high arches so these are very comfortable on my feet. Overall they look, feel, and fit great. I'd like to add that i use them for style not for running.
Great alternative to New Balance 990
<br /><br />I have slowly been working back into running. Mind you, I'm 6'0 and 220 lbs., so I put a lot of pressure on my extremely flat feet. I've been running 3-5 miles every other day, and I still love these shoes. I actually ran 10.5 miles in them a couple days ago and they provided ample support.

I like New Balance shoes
I like New Balance shoes. I have a few pairs of shoes for casual use and for running. This model met my expectations from New Balance shoes as well. The only minus is the colour. Even though it looks like a mat grey on the pictures, the fabric is very shiny. I hesitated to use them a few times when it was sunny outside. Because they get more shiny under the sun light.

I dont write many reviews for stuff. I have size 10 feet 4e or wider and VERY FLAT. I have tried several Brooks and New Balance shoes in my quest for a comfortable walking shoe and running if that were my bag. Never have I ordered a 3e as that is all this brand seems to make. I fully expected to ship it right back. BEST F'n Shoes I have ever worn with my Hobbit feet. 3E fits like a 4e and the width is great all around. This is truly exciting for me. I have not had shoes like this all my life of 46 years. I hope my fellow flat footers find the comfort I have.
