I absolutely love these. I purchased them to play rhythm games ...
I absolutely love these. I purchased them to play rhythm games like Pump it Up and Dance Dance Revolution. It does that job spectacularly well. I'm not tripping over them. The fit is soft and you have total control of your foot thanks to the luxurious mesh and foam. The anthracite/off white volt Black and Green will be tough to find cheaper because I don't think they make them in this color anymore. The Nike FREE RNs are great for more indoor exercise rather than outdoors due to the flat soles. However, I have heard that they're great for running outside as well (just make sure it's dry weather). I'm just glad I was able to find one of these while they were still on the market.
Good for gym workouts. Size runs small. Order at least 1 size up.
Good training shoe for gym workouts. Not much padding for the ball of the foot. Would not recommend this for trail or street running. Beware that Nike shoes in general run small sized. Where I normally wear a 10.5 mens, I ordered these at 11.5 and they fit perfectly.
Nice shoe, runs small
Beautiful looking shoe. Very lightweight. I’m normally a Nike size 13, but this shoe was too small by a size. Sad I have to return it and can’t get a larger size.
Sambas are the best "do it all" shoe for the price.
I have always been a fan of Sambas, and I always will be, for a few reasons.1. They fit snug around my feet without constricting them, I really like this, as other shoes I have had in the past are too big width/height wise and my foot will move around as I walk.2. They're very durable. I have a pair for over 6 years ago, and while I don't wear them every single day, they've outlasted other pairs of shoes purchased around the same time, and worn for a similar amount of time. The Samba is designed to be an indoor soccer shoe, so the sole of the shoe is designed around grip. This doesn't really come into play if you are just walking around, but it is nice for those moments where you need to unexpectedly be quick on your feet. I usually walk 3-5 miles per day so I need a shoe that is both comfortable and long lasting, and for this reason, I choose these shoes*.There are also several different colorways if white/black isn't your thing. Or you can fully customize your own Samba on the Adidas website.*My other main shoe for day use are the Nike Free 5.0's. I really like how they feel for walking, but there is slightly more foot movement inside the shoe, and they have a relatively short life before needing to be replaced.
Nike all the way.
Great product and looked amazing. The shoes were clean and delivered right away. Unfortunately, they were a half size too small. Ordered new ones.
Great Shoes for the $$$
Great Shoes! I have been running in them for the past three months and they still have lots of mileage on them... Normally I runn the 150.00 dollar shoes. gel-nimbus and glycerins. They only last three months max and my joint start to hurt and the shoes soles are shot. I'm 54 yr old have have been running since the days of Nike's LDV1000s. I love running but it is hard to keep paying for $150.00 shoes that last only 3 months maybe 4 if I can take it. I highly recommend the Saucony Cohesion 8. They are my new go to shoes..... I wrote this same review before but for some reason it disappeared.
Perfect for those long standing days on concrete.
I work on concrete floors all day long. I have worn 100.00+ Rockports, Nike, Reebok and other brands, but these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have worn. My legs and feet used to hurt at the end of my shift ,but not with these shoes. I am on my 4th pair and I love them.
2014 all of the way
If you want a solid modern daily shoe that is bright red...then this is THE Nike shoe. Solid support and good construction. Do keep in mind I would never run in these shoes as I find them much too heavy for that chore. However, as a daily shoe I find this exceptional. I have been on travel and leisure and the shoe hold true. If you wear a true size shoe, order a half-size larger.
These are the best athletic shoes for me
These are the best athletic shoes for me. No other shoes come close to these. This was my third pair, and I'll be buying another pair soon. Having had to deal with plantar fasciitis for the last three years, its been a challenge for me to find athletic shoes that are comfortable enough to do high-intensity workouts 4-5 times a week. I've tried Nike, Adidas among other brands, and none of them have come close to Brooks Cadence.
Nike simply rules in the shoe department!!
I love these shoes! Nike is the best shoe ever for a reason, ever changing style, performance, functionality and constantly improving. I have two pair already, if they made more colors I would have 10 pairs, very comfortable, very cool looking and I don't have to wear socks. The shoes do not smell either even after my feet have been in them. I went up a half size; probably should not have since you are not wearing socks, I could probably get away with a 10.5 but still think the size 11 is good for me.
Pricey but what a phenomenal shoe
So it isn't exactly like being barefoot (obviously), but it's closer than anything I've ever felt, including sandals. One hundred is a lot for a pair of shoes, but it was worth it for me. I was a believer in the theory behind the shoe (that all other shoes are "babying" our feet), and getting these confirmed my belief. Way to go Nike. Now if you could just stop using child labor to make them...
A classic shoe.
I liked how Nike brought back the Leather Cortez series. I don't play basketball, I don't jog, and I don't golf. These shoes are right up my alley, and no, I don't bowl either!
My favorite show by Nike so far
My favorite show by Nike so far. The only shoes I'll wear when I'm on my feet all day. The 2015 model looks far better than the new version.
Great deal on good running shoes
The Adidas Men's Duramo have been a great purchase for me financially and functionally. I run approximately 5 miles every other day and am not interested in spending upwards of $60-$100 on shoes from other manufacturers. I've purchased Adidas running shoes in the past and have found them to be a great inexpensive alternative to nike, reebok and new balance. They are comfortable with good arch support and are reflective enough so that when I run in the evening I'll be seen. The only complaint I have is that I have to get a size larger than my current foot size when I purchase them online. For some reason they run a little small compared to others. I'd suggest trying some on in a shoe store to get a feel for what your size is in this particular brand, then ordering them online just to make sure you're getting the right fit. It's a minor issue to an otherwise great shoe. Admittedly, the price was the main motivation for me. I've rarely found a decent shoe under $30 and when I do, I buy them. I purchased these on sale and haven't regretted it one bit.
good bang for the buck shoe from Saucony
I run about 50 miles per week, 7 miles at a time. I alternate pairs of shoes (New Balance MR1226s, Nike Vomero +5's) along w/ these in the rotation as the cheapest pair. While these are not in the same league they do work well especially for the low price. I probably wouldn't use it as my primary/daily running shoe, but then I alternate shoes anyway. These fit and cushioned my feet well through my 7 mile running sessions. For the price I would probably buy another pair.
Great Longboarder shoe
My son is very hard on shoes. We've had these over 4 months and they still look good. His Nike shoes came unglued in a month.
I love Brooks. Awesome running shoes
I love Brooks. Awesome running shoes. I wear 9.5 in Nike, I ordered size 10, it was just exactly my size, I would recommend others to order a 10.5.or even an 11.They are a bit stiff and hard, they bend eventually after a couple times of use, very cushiony, as if you floated and bounced.
