After reading reviews of getting a half size smaller, I decided to do so as well and so glad that I did! Usually I am a size 11, but these are on the bigger side so I got a 10.5 in women’s. They were packaged nicely and fit very well! Also comfortable to wear. And stylish! 10/10
Adidas Grand Court shoes
First Grand Court shoe. Must admit, I am a fan of the Adidas Samba Mexico... so hard to find in my size. I am pleased with my purchase.
For me, these fit better than Sambas. Look sweet. Tag says not intended for high performance athletics.
I got these as a change of pace from my Adidas Sambas. I love Sambas, but they seemed to be getting a little narrow in the little toe area in the past few years.<br />I was not super thrilled with the idea of this brand as I had a pair of Onitsuka's (i think they were the Mexico 66) that fit funny in the past (the back sole dug into my foot even though the size was big enough.)<br /><br />But at the price (currently just a tad less than similar looking Adidias or Pumas), I was willing to try this different style. Upon putting them on, I was pleasantly surprised. They are almost roomy. The leather(?) is not as thick or tight as I would expect and the soles are not as thin as I was dreading. The height of the sides is very low compared to my other shoes.<br /><br />Now, if you are thinking of getting these to wear for actual sports, the tag says that they are "not intended for high performance athletics".<br />I have a pair of Salas for soccer which fit like a glove and have a minimal, yet good sole.<br /><br />If you are just walking around, these Tokuten's are quite nice. I did notice a distinct clomp as a stepped. Not sure if that will go away. But it is not really a huge deal except when I am trying to be super quiet.<br /><br />They didn't even need a break in time. They fit nicely inside and then outside (the true test because they are not returnable anymore) they were like an old pair of comfy shoes. My toes were happy on a long walk. They aren't exactly snug and seem to loosen up a bit.<br /><br />The tongue of these was my biggest issue. It is a little piece of foam. Not my particular style, but as a plus, it doesn't bother you because it is virtually not there.<br /><br />I look forward to testing these out over time. They seem to be on a path to be my favorite shoes.<br /><br />I got the same size as my Adidas Sambas and as the Onitsuka Mexico 66s I had in the past.

These arrived on date specified and I was like a kid at Christmas. I always buy sneakers a half size smaller than shoes. They fit perfectly. Can't wait for all the snow in NY to melt so I can wear them.

Super cute, love them! I normally order a half size smaller in Adidas because they always seem to run a little big. My normal size is 7.5 but a size 7 is a better fit in Adidas for me.
