Adidas terrex
I'm a postman so I needed some shoes that were waterproof since I'm usually out in the elements. Very happy with these. My feet stay dry unless I just step in deep water. I did have to buy some gel insoles. The ones that come with it are not very comfortable. I would buy these again.
Nice Adidas so far
Fit and feel like a nice comfy, quality Adidas sneaker should so far. Haven't had a chance to properly break them in yet, but so good so far.

I had been looking for a hiking shoe for a bit, and when I saw this shoe for 50+% off I figured it was worth it to try Adidas instead of Keen, Merrell, etc. As is typical for Amazon my package arrived in a timely manner and this past weekend I gave them a bit of a test on a short hike along a rocky coast trail in SoCal. The Swifts fit perfectly, just like a typical Adidas running shoe in my size. The sole provides some feel, but is stiff enough you don't notice every pebble or root and the traction was great! The lacing system is something new to me outside of snowboarding boots, but for the first go-around it worked just time. I gather that at this time this model is discontinued or at least being updated, but if you can score a pair in your size for a discounted price I'd recommend it! I'll update if I have any other critiques or changes in quality as the shoes get more miles on them.

Great hiking shoes for dry conditions. Open Mesh makes for extremely light upper, lower platform is rigid/thick enough with great traction for walking and hiking. Fit was great, wide enough to be comfortable all day. Very pleased with them!

Adidas Terrell Swift R GTX
REI stopped carrying Adidas Terrence Swift R GTX so I turned to Amazon. I was able to secure two pairs. I knew what size I needed. The savings can be huge in certain colors. So the price for two was fair. I wear them daily and the lacing system has not broken in previous pairs I owned. Very comfortable for walking and good for trails too. I like having the Gortex material as I can wear them in inclement weather too. The soles wear out before the tops do. I get a little over a year’s wear before changing to new a pair.

A very good pair of hiking shoes! I got high tops for the ankle support and they fit and feel great.
Adidas Hiking Shoes?
Bought these over other "hiking" brands after trying on multiple pairs at the store. These had the best fit, support, and ruggedness. Well made and look good. Maiden voyage was a hike across and down the side of Haleakala they performed well (wore them with gaiters due to the loose rock).
