I've always been a Nike shox fan
Comfortable and light. They breathe well. 2nd pair I've owned by Nike. I've had many other big brand sneakers and no other sneakers feel this good, like wearing nothing on your feet. I did find I needed to go a half size bigger.
Nike Structure is Still the Only Running Shoe for me
This is almost a corrective shoe when compared with other running shoes. Apparently that's what I need because "neutral" running shoes just seem too boaty or mushy for me. I want to be confident when I step down hard on a curb or step. For real running, and by that, I mean in an awkward urban environment, dodging cars, dogs, bicycles, etc, this shoe can't be beat. It's so supportive it makes it hard for me to wobble or turn the wrong way despite the fact that I have some bad stride habits particularly in the early miles before I straighten things out. There are other types of supportive running shoes, but they all seem to be heavier. I don't want a tank hiking-style boot. I want the lightest-weight running shoe I can get, but with lots of support so I can just focus on stride and have fun. I think this is the one.<br /><br />It's got a lot of cushion underneath and doesn't skimp up front beneath the toes which is key for me. It's got a lot of boxy supportive material on the upper which I'm not sure I like as much as Structure Triax generations past, but the newer tongue design is so great, it almost doesn't matter. I don't need to mess with it at all. It just stays where it's supposed to and doesn't get pushed forward which is awesome. Styling-wise, I think the company is kind of blowing this shoe off more or less. Or maybe it's ahead of the curve minimalism(?). I don't know and I really don't care. This is for running. I think the flash-type material stands out in the dark, so that could be useful on night runs but I'll have to see. I'll update if I find to the contrary.

Nike is a great sneaker in all respects except for the arch. Put my own arch in and threw out Nike arch. Tried other brands and always go back to NIKE so it is for me a small thing to have to put in my own arch

Well worth the lower price range found here, possibly comparable to the more expensive nike rotationals.
Having not thrown for over 20 years, coming back in to this because my kids are in to track/field, I gave these shoes a try due to their low price here on amazon. Oddly, some sizes are much much cheaper than other sizes, and in fact one pair I bought for my daughter 2 hours later was up to full price. Anyway, I am a big guy, ordered the 15s and was a little worried from other comments about them being narrow. However, for the price, compared the the $100+ shoes out there (of which I could not find any in my size), I figured I'd give them a shot. 20+ years ago I had some Nike rotational shoes that were ok at best (back then I had a cheap college budget ... so not much has changed ;). Anyway, given that the retail price of these are often about the same price as the well worn nike zooms, I figured they are probably decent maybe comparable. Well I can tell you I am pleasantly surprised. The 15's fit my size 14ish foot, I do have a little room in the toes, so I'd prefer a 14.5 and I may try the size 14 if the price drops down to the lowest I got these at, but they are quite comfortable. They are lighter than my old ones, and the toe has a better rotational design to it than what I used to use.<br /><br />I don't know if I'd pay the $100+ that some places offer these at, compared to the Nike rotational shoes.. having ended up ordering my daughter the nike zoom 6, it's quite a sturdier/nicer shoe overall than this. But for the < $40 I paid for these... I am blown away. If you can find these for ~ $50 I'd opt to get two pairs of these over the $100+ nike shoes especially if you're a growing high school kid. I doubt the nike's or any other shoe gives you that much more spin/control/support than what these offer.<br /><br />Hope this helps some out. Like I said.. look for the lower price and grab them if you can.<br /><br />Oh..for the ladies that may be interested.. I bought an 8.5 mens in both the nike and this for my daughter (she is a size 10 to 10.5 in women depending on shoe). The 8.5 in these were too big for her, where as the 8.5 in Nike zoom 6 fit her just right with a tiny bit of room. So.. these seem to run a little big. I'd suggest if you're a size 10 in women, to get the 7.5 or 8 in these.

I intentionally got the 4E wide because that's what my Nike's were that fit great. I have wide, flat feet. The 4E is almost too wide. I wonder what the regular size is like. But I'm satisfied.

Nike Air Pegasus won me over!
I absolutely LOVE the Nike Air Pegasus 32! This is my first pair of Nike running shoes since High School (aka a REALLY long time ago!). When I began running again two years ago I purchase Adidas running shoes. I purchased two more pairs of Adidas in that time frame and although I had no issues running with them, I was increasing running distances and needed a new pair of shoes. My running buddies said I should go and get fitted for shoes at a running store. I was hesitant to allow them to potentially change my brand, but I had signed up for a half-marathon (my very first) and wanted to make sure I was doing my feet good. At the running store I tried on Brooks, Adidas, and Nike. I fell in love with comfort and fit of the Nike Air Pegasus! They fit similar to my Adidas, but they were so much lighter in weight. I also need a wider toe area and the Nike do not squeeze my toes at all. I bought a high arch insole to replace the stock insole as I felt I needed the additional arch support. I tried my new Nike's out that next weekend in my first 10k and they were fabulous. My feet were not sore after, they did not rub or create blisters. There was no "break-in" period for me in these shoes. Since purchasing my shoes, I've ran over 200 miles in them and they still feel great. I think they are rated to go around 300 miles or so. I'm a fan and will continue to purchase Nike Air Pegasus as I continue to run.
