I'm in my sixties, and have been a serious recreational runner for 40+ years. My favorite running shoes have been an old version of Adidas Supernova Cushion and New Balance models. The Brooks Transcend is far and away the most comfortable, stable and moderately weighted running shoe I've ever owned.

Second best Adidas on the Market
I have a pair of Ultraboost 19s and my only complaint was that the knit was a bit loose, or losing its elasticity, causing the foot to separate from the sole. So, I thought it might be time for an updated pair. Got the 21s in red.<br />On the plus side, the upper is snug and seems to be more durable that the Primeknit on the 19s. And they look pretty sick.<br /><br />On the minus side, im not sure if its the thickness of the Boost material or what, but its a much less cushioned ride. I'm working harder to keep pace because theres noticeably less bounce in the shoe. Hopefully this is just stiffness from the shoe being new, or intended to create a sturdier step, but I didnt have this issue with the 19s.<br />I'd probably have given it five stars if I hadnt already bought a five star Adidas runner....
