( For me, it feels as if the arch support is in the wrong place on the bottom of the shoe. I have the same issue with Nike sneakers. I have never found a pair of Nikes that does feel like the arch is in the wrong place. So, if you have trouble wearing Nikes, you may have the same issue.

I would order half a size up. I wear a size 8 in sneakers like New Balance or Nike. These were a little snug, I would order a size 8 1/2, I didn't have time to return them in time for my trip, so I kept them and they did good on my 12 mile up an down hike, but I would still have been more comfortable in a bigger size. They are very cute though!

These shoes changed my entire opinion of hiking. Before purchasing these shoes I hiked a 14er in Nike's and had a terrible experience. After that experience these shoes were bought for me to continue adventuring all the difficult but beautiful hiking trails that the Colorado mountains have to offer. These shoes have made me feel very secure on all trails, they are light weight, and cuter than most hiking shoes! I would recommend them 100 times over!!

Compared to Nike walking shoes...

Just breaking these in. I tried these on at a store and found that like my Nke walking shoes, I needed a size 9 instead of the size 8 I wear in dress shoes. They are heavier than Nikes and I am getting used to that. The inside side of the heel is higher than a normal shoe and that took some getting used to but I don't notice it anymore. I bought these because my husband has had a pair for almost 7 years and has worn them out. My brother also swears by them. We took a Viking River Cruise on the Danube and there dozens of men wearing them and all swore by them. These are very well made and I expect to wear them for years to come.

Finally moved on from Nikes… I love these!!!

Bought these at REI as I wanted to try on before purchasing. I was tired of buying Nikes and just having my feet feel like crap both in the toe and heel area. My toes have so much more room in these and the arch support is great!! My normal size is 9, sometimes W but I got regular 9 in these and they fit like a dream!! May add some heel cups over time but I wore them all day at Universal Studios to break them in and I only felt general weariness of a 20K+ step day. Try them out!

So I worn a thicker socks socks like the Nikes

I had the same kind of shoes made by Sketcher, I had them with size 6 and I normally a 61/2 or 7 person. With the Bernie Mev, I ordered size 37, but they were just a little too long. I didn't want to exchange them because the black ones with my size were hard to come by. So I worn a thicker socks socks like the Nikes. What do you know, they fit me perfectly! One thing about this type of shoes with memory foam insole, they will fit your feet eventually. It's like the ballet flats, they wrap around your feet. I love Bernie Mev as much as the Sketcher brand. They are so very comfortable and I can walk and walk and walk on them all day long at work. It did take at least one day to completely to break them in. I gave them 4 stars because you need to order 1 or half size down.

It is like the Nike of Pumps in feel and unfortunately the way it is sized.

This shoe is awesome...BUT...is sized small. Whatever your size is, get one size larger. My size is heels range from 8/12 to 9 1/2 so this threw me off. Otherwise I am sincerely a fan.

Fit, finish, performance, a SLAM DUNK SLIPPER for the woman in your life!

Fit is much smaller due to thick lining. If you are a size 7, definitely order a whole size up at size 8. Padding makes this a "hot foot" slipper so if your woman does not like to sweat, you will need to find a more open slipper or rear entry slipper. SOLE: Sole is very good except there is little support in the midsole area. Forefoot and heel have extra padding "bumps" but if you have fallen arches or issues with plantar fasciitis, then you might have an issue. It is a bit of an odd sole in that the middle has little there, but that is the design. Price: For most things in life, you get what you pay for in the end. Here, you get what you paid for in the end, a great slipper. If your goal is to buy a slipper that any woman will love, think no more. This is a SLAM DUNK and you can read my other reviews. I am pretty rough on products that do not perform but this one performs in spades!

These are super Comfy and just some big lounge around slippers. I did wear them to drop the kid to school and they were fine. They are super basic and you get what you pay for atleast here they're not a total ghetto mess. I would get again unless I want to spend the actual monies on something name brand

If you're Nike size 9, order a size 8.

I normally wear a regular width size 9 in Nike tennis shoes. I wear size 9 in Reef flip flops. Unfortunately, the reviews on these vionic adilyn womens orthotic support slippers are all over the place, so I am hoping my review will help. Some people wear shoes that are too big for them. I like my shoes to fit correctly. For example, I don't like to have half an inch of extra space on the back of my flip flops, but I don't want my heel on the edge of the flip flop either (nothing hanging over). I like my feet to fit on the flip flop. I ordered a size 9 in these Vionic Adilyn Womens Orthotic Support Slippers and they were way too big. My foot has a good 3/4 inch on the back of my heel when my toes are at the front of the shoe and about 1/2 inch space on one side of my foot, so they are pretty wide. I like that the arch is pretty high, this keeps the pressure off your heel, but since my foot slid all over the place in the size 9, my foot will constantly land on different spots of the shoe bed. I'm returning the 9 and buying a size 8. I'm hoping the smaller size will be more narrow as well. These shoes are not true to size, unless you're a person that typically wears shoes/flip flops that are loose and too big for your feet.

Always love air max

I thought these would be the same fit and feel of my other air max shoes, but hey were uncomfortable. I have 3 daughters with the same size feet so I won't be returning but wish they worked for me. Love the classic style and quality
