Rubbers for Shoes
I've been aware of Tingley over-the-shoe rubbers for many years, but they have always been too small. Recently, I found that Amazon offers a bigger Tingley rubber that just fits over my shoes. I wear extra wide 11.5 Air Monarch shoes made by Nike. They have big soles which make rubbers seem incredibly small. But these new 3XL (14 - 15.5 US) Tingley rubbers just fit over them, so I like them a lot. I need rubbers for doing yard-work all year around in the very rainy Pacific Northwest. Without rubbers my shoes constantly get wet, shrink, then fit no longer. These rubbers keep my big shoes dry, so they don't shrink when it rains.
#1 NEWER AIR MAX 1s ON THE MARKET.
ALWAYS A GO TO PAIR OF SNEAKERS FOR ME. AIR MAX 1 IS ALWAYS COMFORTABLE. EVEN THESE, AH8145 (ESSENTIALS) WHICH IS THE CHEAPEST AVAILABLE. MSRP OF $110. AND THEY ARE TOP QUALITY.I OWN ABOUT 450-500 AIR MAX 1s OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. DATING BACK TO 1999. IM USUALLY A FAN OF THE OLDER MODELS (ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS USED BACK WHEN). BUT THIS PAIR. THIS IS IT. NO MATTER THE COLORWAY.
Not bad.
This is a top quality shoe. You have to order a half size up. After that, these fit okay and have enough cushioning. I like that the top tongue is cushioned. These days you have to pay a lot just to get proper cushioning. These are a little bit more supportive than average. Personally don't think its necessary in a running shoe, but I'll wear them anyway. I think they are too expensive. If you get the right fit on a New Balance shoe, its going to be a better deal. The style of the shoe is a little boring. Overall I think once you get them laces up and tightened up, nothing rubs on your foot and you can probably walk or run without problems. I ended up custom ordering some because I don't like the colors / design of the standard shoes which cost over 100. If you are going to pay that much you might as well get Nike ID. If you act fast, you can get these for $40 less on Nike.com too. Its going to be a good running for most people if they get the correct size.
Great Shoes and Saved Major $$$s!!
I bought these simply because they were considerably less expensive than brands like Nike, Adidas, et al. Not only was I thrilled with the price, THESE CHAMPIONS ARE ACTUALLY MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE MAJOR BRANDS! I got this pair for $30. How can you possibly go wrong buying a pair at this price? Great fit as well. Payless/.Champion, what can I say except these shoes are one of the best deals I've ever gotten on anything!
Run a little big
I wear a size 11 in every other brand as well as Nike. Unfortunately, these were to big. I have ordered the 10.5 - hopefully, they will fit.
Awesome fit
These shoes are crazy comfy, I am very pleased with them. They have very standard Nike fit and look good with both jeans and shorts.
they're the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn (better than the Adidas
This is my fourth pair of Nike Tailwind 6, they're the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn (better than the Adidas, Head, K-Swiss and other various Nike shoes that sit in my closet).
Great price, well made, and look nice on.
My husband likes all white sneakers ☺️. I searched very long and hard for the right sneaker. I have purchased all the big name brands prior. The sole always pulls away from the bottom of the sneaker. Nike, Reebok, and NB. He has not had that issue with these and he says they are the most comfortable sneaker he has owned thus far. Give them a try and see what you think. Great price and well made.
Can't beat Saucony for Effeciency, style and price!
I have been a runner for close to 20 years now and I have tried a great deal of shoes. For comfortable, casual sneakers, I wear the Saucony Jazz Originals and for running I tend to stay with addidas for the fit/comfort. I most enjoy trail running but am beginning to run more often on the street so I needed a different style. I was looking for a lighter shoe that would give me proper support and not cramp my toes. In a traditional trail running shoe by addidas there is good shock absorbtion for the impact of the heel, and a slightly wider area near the toes for compression and expansion of the area of the foot just above where the arch of your foot stops. This works well for me. I have tried quite a few Nike and New Balance shoes that look really cool, and everyone seems to have them, but I wonder how many of those people actually run in them?....I bought my wife the female version of this shoe and she really liked them so I gave them a shot. I am very pleased to find that they are really, really light but still have enough support for the fairly harsh impact of consistent running on the street. The mixed media materials are all stylish and well ventilated. My only complaint is that the toe is slightly more narrow than I would like. You can't feel it when you put them on, I think you really feel the pressure of the toes being forced together when you run down hill. Over all I am very happy with them and would purchase them again!
Five Stars
Only problem is that Nike stopped making these wonderful shoes
Great, shoes and price
Fit a little big because they only all full sizes, not half sizes. If they had a ten and a half, I believe they would fit perfect. They are very comfortable and easy to clean.I'm buying two more pair soon in different colors soon. These are actually just as comfortable as my ninety dollar Nike knit shoes but only 25 dollars with tax and delivery
Just what you'd expect from Nike!
Great shoe for the price, speedy delivery, and very comfortable.
Run small
I had to return these, because they were too small. I read the reviews that said that, but I have always thought Nikes ran small. I currently have a size 7 Nike running shoe that fits fine, so that is what I ordered again. I should have ordered a 7.5. Unfortunately, they didn't have that size in stock, so I had to order a pair from another online retailer. The shoes seemed to be very comfortable, with a lot of cushion, but I haven't had a chance to run in them yet.
