New Balance, what more can I say.
I wear a woman’s 9-9 1/2 WW. The men’s 8.5 2E are the perfect length & width for me. I always buy shoes my orthotics fit and these are perfect. The black ones were a tad longer than the grey ones, but no matter. They are comfortable walking around and that’s all I expect. New Balance is recommended by my podiatrist.
Great deal on New Balance walking shoes!
Time to transition from running shoes to walking shoes and wanted to stick with New Balance. Great quality, fits well, very pleased and price was reasonable!
Most Comfortable new balance I've owned.
One of the best pairs of new balance I've owned. Super build quality. Made in the USA! This shoe has a larger toe box than other shoes, Even new balance shoes. I have narrow feet and high arches but always needed a wide size cause my shoes would wear out in the toe box area due to small toe area. These are my new everything shoe
New Balance 409 and 978
I bought both items online through Amazon at the same time. Read reviews and hoped for the best when ordering. Ordered the 409's 9.5 4E (my size) and they fit perfect. Ordered the 978's a half size bigger at 10 4E and they fit perfect. Lucky me. Both are comfortable and appear to be well crafted.
New Balance velcro strap shoes
I like the shoe style. The velcro straps are of perfect length and fasten securely. My only complaint is the shoes are tight across the top of my feet. I am hoping they will stretch a little bit as they get broken in. If not, when the time comes to purchase a new pair and if I decide again on these I'll go with a half size larger.<br /><br />Shoe construction gives the impression they will hold up well over time.<br /><br />I would recommend these to anyone who has the opportunity to try them on first. I personally would have bought a half size bigger than I normally wear if had had the opportunity to try them on prior to purchase.

very good high quality shoe and it fits comfortably. This is what I've come to expect from New Balance and once again I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Too bad New Balance changed it
I've been wearing 927's since NB introduced them, and love the support and fit. Glad I was able to still find them, since the NB replacement doesn't fit me well, and looks like crap compared to this shoe. I don't know why stupid companies insist on fixing that which is not broken, but it seems they all do. Anyway if you can still find this one, get it. I cannot recommend its newer replacement, however, which did not fit me well at all.

Quality of the shoe is great. We had ordered a medium, instead of wide first, but the wide was the right one. When I contacted Amazon to exchange, they did a fabulous job and sent the new shoe out before the old had even been returned.

I bought these in the same size as other New Balance shoes I own and they fit perfect. They are really comfortable and the vented design helps to keep my feet cool and dryer.

I Looked and Found a Great Alternative to New Balance Walking Shoes
I have a wide foot along with controlled plantar fasciitis. I walk anywhere from 15-30 plus miles a week and have worn New Balance for several years. Sometimes, I found a great pair of New Balance which provided a good fit and decent longevity. Sometimes, not; poor fit with splitting seams or the inside of the shoe wearing holes in the liner/heal after 2-3 months.<br /><br />After purchasing another pair of poorly performing NB walking shoes, I started looking for something else in my size which is a 11.5 4E. I found Brooks. It's not often that a large number of raters give a product 4 to 5 stars on Amazon. I read through the ratings of this shoe; liked the looks and they had my size. I bought a pair.<br /><br />Usually, when you put a pair of shoes on right out of the box and they fit and feel good, you know it's going to work. These were those shoes. I wore them for a night out to a dinner and a show. The next day, I walked for 2 1/2 hours and they felt good with no issues. Time will tell on the longevity but they are a solid shoe and should give a long service life.<br /><br />One other thing, I purchase Polysorb Crosstrainer Insoles for every new pair of shoes that I get. I have found that they give me the additional support required to keep my PF under control. I replace the stock insole with the Polysorbs which provides the additional support that I need. They generally outlast the shoe. I tried the Polysorb Runner but have since come back to the Crosstrainer for no special reason other than they work and fit great.
Another Good New Balance Shoe
See my review of NB645 shoes. I was somewhat hesitant about purchasing a non-rated shoe from Amazon. However, I took a chance thinking that this model was simalar to the NB645 model. I haven't been disappointed. Great support, good fit and I expect to get at least 6 months of wear or better. I generally walk between 25 and 40 miles per week. I use a Spenco Polysorb Cross Trainer insert and this seems to be the perfect combination to keep my Plantar Fasciitis in check. In fact, I've used the same insert for two pairs of shoes and still get good support.

My husband had a pair of the same walking shoe which he was very happy with but couldn't find them available in the stores in our area. He is very happy to have gotten them on Amazon.
New Balance Men's Walking Shoe
I have a very wide foot and the New Balance Men's MW928V2 comes in the 6E that I find difficult to find in other shoes.. This shoe is well made, comfortable and the fit is exactly as expected.. My foot Doctor recommended the New Balance brand so I feel that it is the best shoe for me.
