NEW BALANCE
NB was always the best athletic shoe! However, this particular model is quite cushy and easily bends when running. If you wear orthotics, as I do, these shoes may not be for you. I needed to buy a harder sole and adjusted for my neuroma. Just FYI

The NEW BALANCE Men's MT410V4 Trail Shoe arrived fresh and ready-to-go! The product fit is as I had hoped since some reviews noted that the shoe was a "bit narrow". Out of the box, the shoe appeared more narrow than my previous New Balance Shoe but I attribute this to the out of the box new condition. WIthin a few minutes of walking, the shoe "relaxed more" and the shoe stretched to the width I had expected. The arch support for my feet is good, however, it doesn't seem as springy as I had expected.I attribute this to the "Trail Shoe" designation being it's a stiffer to provide a buffer against "Trail like" conditions. I am very happy with this shoe. Workmanship is as expected, design is nice and it fits my 8 EEEE (4 E) feet.
New Balance and wide feet - the best combination for me ...
I have worn New Balance shoes for many years now. I find that with the right size and last, I can get a great fit and buy off the Internet with no fear.<br /><br />These shoes perform well whether walking, running, or hiking. The fit is comfortable and consistent over the entire foot. If your feet are like mine (and I pity you if they are), these are great shoes for active endeavors.

New Balance Good, Fire Bad
New Balance trail running shoes are the only ones I buy. Nikes don't fit- it's as if when making size 13s, the Vietnamese people manufacturing them think "no one has feet that big, why, my entire family could live in those" so they make them too small.

I'm going to have to get used to this shoe because of the difference in padding compared to other New Balance sneakers I own. So far, I like this sneaker and will be using it instead of the other pairs I own. I'm glad I made this purchase.
