Very comfortable. No "break-in" period required. Bless you, New Balance. I went for a walk and actually enjoyed it. It had been a while since I felt so light on my feet.

I purchased these shoes for walking and find the New Balance are the best for my feet. They fit well, feel well and being leather they don't get wet and dirty as easy as canvas. I walk 5-6 miles a night and so far they do not hurt my feet at all. The arch seems appropriate. I will update as they wear!

Review of New balance shoe MW646 Walking Shoe
This shoe is bold and has a very good presentation..! It is slightly heavy for a walking shoe, however.., it fits well and is basically comfortable for my application of working and walking up & down in my local baseball stadium where I am employeed as a security usher!
New Balance is a shoe name you can trust and count on.
I like the feel of these shoes; it is almost cloud soft to your feet, but full support too.

Love these shoes! I am 5'11'' and a bit over weight with heel pain and these shoes do wonders. I am back to working out and these are some of the best shoes I have owned in a few years!! Great support, comfort and cushion!
New Balance Men's MW577 Leather Walking Shoe
I ordered this shoe for my husband, and we had to reorder a larger size, NOT because it fit's small but because he gave me the wrong size, when I asked him what size is other pair was. Duh. Anyway, he loves these shoes, and they did fit, we believe a little small, because normally he does wear a 14, and we had to order a 15 in the New Balance with the velcro. They fit different than the running shoes from New balance. They are a great shoe for him.

my first pair of NB. The fit really was perfect right from the start. For the most part very comfortable as I do have foot issues and do wear supports. I wanted something between a running shoe and a hiking shoe and this fit the bill quite nicely.
