I have never used this brand of shoe before and from the reviews I was reading it seemed worth the shot to try them out. I do not regret taking the chance on these shoes. The amount of cushion these shoes provide is great. Almost like running on the clouds compared to my old Nike's. The "zero drop" works well to encourage you not to heel strike when running. If you are not used to running on the ball of your feet do not try and run a long distance at first or your calve muscles will hate you the next day. The front of the shoes is wide and allows your foot to spread out so your toes are not jammed or stressed as they strike the ground. Altra has a new customer for life here. I highly recommend these shoes.
Stylish and comfortable (for the most part)
On average I am about a 10 or an 11 in shoe size. I wear 10's when I buy shoes like Puma's and 11's when I wear shoes like the Nike Shox. I can safely say the 10.5 Diesel I'm wearing has a nice fit.Overall, I think the shoes look nice even though it is a really basic-looking model. I have the white pair so I can wear it with basically anything except jeans. I don't like it when my shoes are so thin I end up stepping on my jeans.

YES, I LOVE the material, love the material and I purchase this in an X-large to b/c my husband is an XL but it too was too big for him and he has broad shoulders; unlike the Scarlet and the Light Blue (which I gave to my stepson) he is keeping this one since the color look so good on him. Now If your man like a lot of room when wearing a t-shirt then this would be fine for him.

I LOVE the material the minute I open the package. I purchase this in an X-large b/c my husband is an XL but sad to say it was too big for him and he has broad shoulders, have no intention of sending it back b/c the material and color is all the reason to keep it so I gave it to my stepson. If your man like a lot of room when wearing a t-shirt then this would be fine for him. We love the material so I'm planning on purchasing this item one size smaller.
Great value, great sneaker!
I was looking for an inexpensive option to replace my aging Nike running sneakers. For a little over $35, I can't imagine anything even coming close to the sneakers. Great value, great sneaker!
Best shoe around!!!
This is the best shoe I have got in the last 4 years or so. I have tried many skate shoes from Vans, Osiris, and my favorite Adio. But none of those shoe company's make a decent looking shoe anymore. They are all designed to attract a very different crowd of people and look very much like a Nike skate shoe. I am an old skool skater from the late 90's early 2000's and I am sorry but Nike should not at all be in the extreme sports industry stick to the team sports! These shoes are very comfortable and durable. The are a very nicely desigined and appealing. They are exactly what a skate shoe should be. They come with 2 sets of laces (white and black) which you can use one as a back up or get creative and lace the shoe with both. They have the lace protective holes to use or the standard holes on the outside. It has a pocket on the tounge which for me is usless but is kind of a need feature added. The padding in the shoe can be removed to add either a different one or hide your laces if you lace it up so you do not have to tie your shoes. Great shoe would definately buy again if it is still avalible when I need another pair. DVS might be my new favorite shoe company.

Fit mostly as expected but kinda runs a lil large. They are super comfortable, and breath a million times better than my 2016 Nike AirMax's. In fact they are so lightweight, airy and comfortable that I often find myself wearing them through the evening around the house.
Sweet Court Shoes
My son really likes these court shoes. They fit true to size, which was a surprise, considering they are Nike. I usually have to order up a size, but not with these.

Husband loves them! He has a bad back and needed a good pair of shoes for jogging/walking and these fit the bill. He usually gets Nike Frees (5.0) but I've always loved the Flyknit 4.0s, so I bought him a pair to try and now they're his favorite! Yay me. He wears a 10.5 in the Nike Frees and these fit just as well if not better. He does not wear socks with them (though he did with the Frees).
Fit for the Torin Altra Shoe
I find that the shoe fits somewhat small because it has a different lacing system that doesn't snug it up as well allowing the foot to slide forward a bit into the toe box when running and because the toe box is made of somewhat stouter material making it less flexible than my other Altra shoes. I generally run without socks but find that I need to wear a sock with the Torin shoes where I can run without socks with my Instinct 1.5's and with my Nike 3.0's. I still like the shoes but have only run in them a couple of times. I'm hoping they will soften up and perhaps I can get them to lace up better and I can again run without socks in my Torin's as well.
I love these shoes
I love these shoes. Very comfortable and stylish. Sizing is weird... I wear 10 in most other Adidas. Based on other reviews, I sized down to 9.5 and they fit perfect. If it helps, I normally wear a 10.5 in Nike and 9.5 in dress shoes/boots.I do not recommend any heavy or moderate activity in these. The entire upper is primeknit, so just walking around is fine and actually very comfortable. BUT there is no support and I rolled my ankle really bad just lightly jogging down a hill.

Cole Haans are one of the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear. They are designed by Nike so they feel like tennis shoes. Great purchase!
