very comfortable. Adidas is a great shoe.

the black doesn't really stay black. They also crease a lot on the top surface of the shoe which makes them kind of wrinkly and not as attractive. The sole: I think after 3 months almost every day, on various terrain, the bottom sole wore down in a way that seemed like a lot for only 3 months. Adidas sneakers have a fairly soft plastic/rubber on the sole and it seems to wear down for me... maybe the way I walk not sure. My original review: This shoe is really comfortable. It seems to be water resistant to some degree. I went hiking on a muddy trail and the tread filled in pretty quickly with mud. I bought them because my regular Adidas will not work in a wet climate. I will likely stick with the hiking boots for hiking but these seem like great everyday shoes when you want a non-porous Adidas shoe.

Sambas - Forever Classic and Cool

Sambas are the best - plain and simple. They look old school when I wear them for indoor soccer. They look good with ankle socks and a pair of shorts in the summer. I'm a 45 year old dad and I refuse to give up to total middle age and wear light colored jeans with the big white Reebok cross trainers - these sambas look great with a pair of cool jeans for a casual look. They actually are cool enough that my 14 year old son asked for the same exact pair.

Great shoes! Just beware on the size, I am a solid 10.5 with major part of brands but with many Adidas (Samba, Gazelle, Samoa, Supestar) I have to go half size up. Great color and style, a real kicker for the summer

Great styling (personal opinion), quality construction, super sale price. I was not able to order a wide (eeee) size, so I hoped to compensate by ordering 2 sizes longer. Big mistake. The shoes are quite narrow (medium), and if you have a wide foot, the medium is not recommended in any size. Look for a store that has an inventory of wide, if wide is required.

Adidas Excellence

These are timeless, durable, functional, stylish, and comfortable. Get both black and white. You'll wear them a lot. They fit well, and break in quickly. The slight squeak at the beginning is easily fixed with a bit of hand lotion on the tongue. For older guys, they are effectively the antidote to all the stupid looking thick-soled space age running shoes. Since they are such an old design, anyone can pull them off-

LOVE Adidas

These Adidas Thrashers are awesome; however, I'm hard to fit floating in between an 8.5 & a 9. I ordered these in the 8.5 & they're snug. The site itself is great; color, traction...superb!

Adidas never fails!!!!

I purchased this shoe for working since the are really build like boots even though it called a basketball shoe. they are very comfortable and the lace up system is great since it uses a pulley-like system to tie ure shoes. the leater is thick but very comfortable and not restrictive. definitly buy another pair!!!!

Superstars Rock

The photo does not show it but the greenish tint on the shoes are more visible than they appear in the photos. I like it but it may not be to everyones' taste. That being said, I really like superstars. I had three of them so far in the past ten years in different versions.
